This is a ready-made dish, fillet cut into beautiful pieces 1-2 cm wide, which can be served directly at the table and does not require further processing. It contains only the simplest ingredients, such as omul fillet, minimum salt, oil, and chili pepper. The pepper pairs beautifully with the fish fillet. They give the dish a very light spiciness and a special spicy taste.
Omul is a representative of the salmon family, with white meat that has no strong fishy smell. The Arctic omul is most commonly found in the Arctic Ocean, spawning preferentially in the cold waters of the North, Asia, or America. This fish is quite picky and chooses only clean water, saturated with a lot of oxygen, for breeding and living. This feature ensures the absence of harmful chemicals and heavy metals in its meat. It somewhat resembles the taste of ideal mackerel (although it has nothing in common with this type of fish), but without a huge amount of fish fat and without a strong intrusive aroma.
